the pierced cartouche shaped minutely carved back depicting scrolling floral and foliate tendrils joined to round inset thick pleated box seat with embroidered top depicting elaborate arched temple with exotic birds, centering ‘living’ tree; the whole raised on similarly pierced and carved floral and foliate base with shaped and moulded apron, protruding knees continuous with outward scrolling front feet, saber back feet and raised on white porcelain castors
