each with rectangular upholstered back, surmounted by acanthus leaf finials, joined to flat rectangular section arms with compound molded edge, on similar square section supports, joined to tight upholstered seat; the whole raised on square section legs and ending in sled stretchers with foliate carved feet, upholstered in 19th Century tapestry, depicting maiden in flowing robes within floral and foliate background, all within wave borders and fitted with large foliate nailheads
