the compound moulded cavetto cornice over rectangular section two door hinged case, enclosing two shelves; the whole raised on compound moulded base with bracket feet and highly enriched with polychrome decoration depicting festive garden dining scene, with white skirted table with bounty of food and wine, surrounded by various male and female celebrants in classical dress, turbaned attendant to the left, dogs attentively watching the forefront, a stone monument on the left surmounted by a bacchus sculpture and engraved with a line from the Roman poet Horace’s Ode 1.7 “ Nunc Vino Pelite Curas”, translating “Now Drive Out Your Cares With Wine”, the sides, cornice and base with pale blue and ochre painted finish
